Spring 2019 Action Theme
Everything depends on our planet. Let’s do more to help heal our home.
A critical shift is happening in the world, a new generation finally seeing how our current levels of consumption and waste are at the expense of the future. What’s motivating people to act isn’t fear – it’s love. Of the planet, of children, of hope. The consequences of past failures are dire: 12 years to stop catastrophic climate change, lead in the water in Flint, and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Change is coming.
Let’s be a part of it, together.
What’s the best thing you can do to help heal our environment?
Your project could be about climate change, or it could benefit a local endangered species. It could tell the story of what your community is already doing to stop its wasteful patterns, or highlight & help fund a project that will bring a lasting reduction in damage to our world. We are seeking positive, inspiring, and impactful projects. Individuals and nonprofits alike are welcome to apply.
- March 15 Student Strike for Climate
- Historic Youth Climate Change Lawsuit
- Cleaning up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch
- 30 Day Zero Waste Challenge
- Eating Fewer Animal Products to Save the Planet
- Educating Girls & Providing Birth Control to Fight Climate Change
Grant Amount: $0-10,000
You tell us what you need within this range. Some may only need help and collaborators, or a platform to share. Others may have a big project that requires a lot of money in mind. Both are equally welcome to apply.
