Winter 2019 Action Theme
Love wins. Who you are wins. Let’s make sure of it.
Whoever you are, you should be that person. Whoever you love, you should love them. The only consequences should be a happy life. But while same-sex marriage may now be legal in the US, the effort for equality and safety for LGBTQ+ folks is far from over. What can you do to help?
Your project could benefit homeless trans youth, or it could help a nonprofit working for equality. It could tell the story of rights that shouldn’t be missing in your community or the country, or fund resources for folks in transition. Want to teach self defense classes for trans folks? Is inclusivity training desperately needed at your workplace? Let’s make an impact.
While you don’t have to be LGBTQ+ to apply, we strongly encourage those who are to participate, as they know what their community needs. Nonprofits, groups, and individuals are all welcome to apply.
