Presenting the nonprofits and collaborators that will join us at Bassnectar’s NYE 360 event.
If your resolution is to do more good in the world, here are eight different causes that might inspire you to make and keep resolutions for 2019 that touch not only your life, but the lives of friends, neighbors, and maybe people you’ll never meet. These fantastic organizations and their volunteers are spending their New Years Eve reaching out to you, so please stop by their booths in the Plaza on the way into the arena.
Clothes for Greensboro residents in need.
Please note: Bob’s Closet will not have their own presence at the event. All clothing drive donations will go to them after the event.
Bob’s Closet is a Greensboro-based initiative that opens their doors to low income and homeless individuals and gives them a place to “shop” for free clothing.

Feed the hungry and take home a NYE360 lunchbox.
Conscious Alliance is a national nonprofit organization committed to supporting communities in crisis through hunger relief and youth empowerment. Since 2002, our Boulder, Colorado based 501(c)(3) has provided over 2 MILLION MEALS to Native American reservations and communities nationwide. We raise awareness of the extreme poverty on many of these reservations, which are among the nation’s poorest communities, and provide opportunities for Native American youth to explore their creativity and develop stronger ties to their culture.

Donate warm clothes for those who can’t buy them.
We are EDM Cares, a small group of professionals in the Colorado nightlife and entertainment industry. Over more than a decade in the industry, we have seen a love for community and others that are seldom seen by the public eye. Not only are we focused on changing the public image of our community, but we are intent on providing information and opportunities to give back through music. We work with and share causes that are focused on educating youth and empowering veterans through the music we love so much.

Standing Rock Sioux Tribe
Support water defenders.
Please note: the Standing Rock Sioux will not have their own presence at the event. A portion of donations to Conscious Alliance will support their efforts.
The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s water supply is at risk.
The Dakota Access Pipeline has already leaked five times along its route, and our Tribe’s report to the Army Corps shows that the current leak detection system can’t detect all spills under our water supply. At this time a spill of more than 11,000 barrels per day would go undetected, and would devastate our homeland. The impacts of spills and leaks on our community have not been properly addressed by the Army Corps, and they are unable to address a worst case oil discharge.
With your support we can take matters into our own hands and establish our own water safety system. Your donation will set-up proper water monitoring wells, train a rapid response team, and be used to purchase needed equipment.
Thank you. Mni Wiconi, Water is Life.

Students for Sensible Drug Policy
Stand up for better drug policy that actually helps people.
Students for Sensible Drug Policy is an international grassroots network of students who are concerned about the impact of drug misuse on our communities, but who also know that the “War on Drugs” is failing our generation and our society.
SSDP mobilizes and empowers young people to participate in the political process, pushing for sensible policies to achieve a safer and more just future. SSDP does this while fighting back against counterproductive policies – in particular, those that directly harm students and youth.

The Regeneration Magazine
Take positive action to stop Climate Change. Make a resolution.
The Regeneration Magazine highlights creatives, thinkers, artists, and entrepreneurs who are making waves in the environmental movement and changing the conversation about climate change. The publication offers something that traditional media outlets do not when it comes to covering the climate crisis: hope.
The biannual magazine, available in digital or print, showcases the good news when it comes to climate change, namely the work of real people doing real work right now to solve the climate crisis. The publication fills a dearth of inspiring and informative content on climate change.
